Since 2015 our project has run a field school training program for students who are interested in archaeology. Field school participants can get transferrable credit from the University of Victoria for six weeks of fieldwork in two differnt archaeological sites (Can Modolell and Ancient Ilduro) if they wish to enroll. Alternatively, we also accept non-credit students and volunteers into our program.
To join us in our next excavation campaign (May-June), please fill out the registration form below and send it together with a copy of your CV and the International Travel Waiver to the following email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. Upon acceptance to the program, participants can eroll in GRS 495: Practicum in Archaeology (3.0 units). Qualified non-UVic students can get UVic transfer credit to their home institution. All participants, weather enroled in GRS 495 or not (volunteers) will be required to pay a program fee which will go toward acommodation for six weeks. UVic tuition for GRS 495 is separate, as is airfare. The excavation team lives in a large shared house (3-4 students per room) in downtown Cabera de Mar (Barcelona, Spain), which includes a large garden, private pool, barbeque area and public transportation to Barcleona downtown (30 min. away).
